陈祖智（生于1942年）   他是新加坡最杰出的画家之一，以其受印象派影响的风景画和静物画而闻名。他于1962年毕业于南洋艺术学院，并于1976年成为一名全职艺术家，致力于户外写生和记录新加坡不断变化的景观。他的作品深受印象派和后印象派的影响，以层叠的笔触和富有表现力的笔法为特色，并且自20世纪90年代以来，他越来越多地使用调色刀。谭先生曾广泛游历东南亚、中国、欧洲和美国进行写生创作。2006年，他荣获新加坡最高艺术荣誉——视觉艺术文化奖章。
