Ang Ah Tee is one of Singapore’s most distinguished second-generation artists. Beginning his artistic journey with watercolour and oil paintings, he later transitioned to acrylics, creating semi-abstract works characterized by rich textural qualities. His innovative use of the palette knife lends a bold, expressive dimension to his paintings, marked by dynamic textures and vibrant layers.
A passionate traveler, Ang draws inspiration from the landscapes, cultures, and architecture he encounters on his journeys. Over the course of his career, he has held 16 solo exhibitions, showcasing his artistic evolution and unique perspective.
Ang’s works have found a place in numerous prestigious collections, including DBS Bank, UOB, OCBC, CitiBank, Shell, the Maritime Museum Sentosa, Singapore Art Museum, and the National University of Singapore.
